- Mission Statement
  
  St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is committed to the development of each student as a well-rounded contributing member of our Catholic and secular communities. The education process encompasses all phases of a child's development. Working together, the faculty, family, and parish create the learning environment for the success of each child.

  Each child is a unique being from God, and we are committed to developing a Christ-centered environment, which fosters children's ability to reach their full potential. Each child will be given a sense of justice and global awareness as a dimension of living their faith.
Core Values and Statement of Beliefs
Academic Excellence
- We believe in promoting academic growth and intellectual development through a strong foundation in reading, writing, and mathematical skills; an appreciation for the fine arts, and an understanding of the importance of science, social studies, and technology in shaping the world of today and the future.
  
  We believe in providing the opportunity for creative and critical thinking in an environment where joy and eagerness in learning, as well as basic concepts and specific skills, are taught.
  
  We believe in multi-faceted curricula creating the opportunity for aesthetic growth in such fields as art, music, literature, science, and math exploration. Students will develop a heightened curiosity and discover that learning is a life-long process.
  
  We believe in teaching the ability to problem solve and think critically, using previous experiences and knowledge to seek answers to questions that each student will face.
CARE OF THE INDIVIDUAL
- We believe in providing the knowledge and skills needed to make healthful choices for physical and emotional development.

Development
- We believe in offering students the use of facilities, materials, and technology that encourage and enhance learning, including the public library, computer instructions and use, science exploration equipment, athletic equipment, artistic instruction, and supplies.
Community
- We believe in providing a safe and wholesome environment for student growth spiritually, academically, aesthetically, socially, and physically.
  
  We believe in developing the school as a center for use by families, teachers, and the parish community for cultural, civic, social, educational/informational, and religious activities.
  
  We believe in promoting respect and appreciation for the diverse heritage that comprises our society.
Service
- We believe in compassionate service and reflection are integral to our faith and to each student's engagement in a global society, preparing them to be an ethical, engaged and socially-conscious citizen.
  
  We believe in understanding an internalization of Christian moral values and the courage to use them to become a missionary of our faith.
  
  We believe in promoting an awareness of and concern for social justice in today's world. Students will understand the freedoms, rights, and privileges come with a responsibility as a member of society.
